The supporting part of the cutter consists of a stand. Inside the stand there is a built-in electric motor that drives the gearbox of the cutting deck with V-belts. On the output shaft side of the gearbox, a connection plate is screwed. A hopper is connected to this connecting plate with screws.
A cutting head is screwed on the front of the hopper, in which a nut-clamped cutting plate is inserted. A feeding auger is placed along the entire length of the hopper and cutting head.
From the driver's side, the worm is pushed onto the modified end of the gearbox output shaft. A pin is inserted in the front of the auger, which passes through a knife holder with cutting knives.
The pin rests on a compression spring and is centered by an insert inserted into the nut. The axial pressure into the worm is captured by the gearbox, which is sufficiently equipped with a tapered roller bearing in order to transfer this axial pressure. The stand rests on four adjustable legs with rubber armrests. The belt gear and lid covers for access to the motor terminal block, tension screw and push-off screw are removable, the other covers are screwed on the stand.
The cutter does not have its own electrical switchboard, but is connected to the rm 950 electrical switchboard, which is also used to connect the type 280 meat-to-bone separator.
